Welcome to St. Tropez!

How we missed it! Sun, beach, fun, good weather, nice vibes, and nothing to do.

Life in St. Tropez is still not back to normal. But they are quickly ramping up as more and more guests are coming. We were happy that the place was not too crowded so far. And yet, the atmosphere of the Côte d'Azur was just magical as always.

Here are a few tips you should not miss on your next visit:

Nice boutique hotel: Muse St. Tropez, a very calm hideaway between St. Tropez and plage de pampelonne, this boutique hotel only has 15 suites. The hotel captivates with architectural simplicity and the furnishings are reduced to the essentials. It is surrounded by an award winning garden filled with blooming local flora. The stunning, infinity-edged pool is lined with loungers and curtained cabanas and soundtracked with light lounge music. Do you need a cocktail, snack, or a massage in the sunshine? All can be arranged by the extremely friendly staff. The service is so personal that you sometimes have the feeling of being the only guest. A perfect place to relax from the hectic at the Riviera (www.muse-hotels.com).

Beach Clubs: We particularly like Les Palmiers (www.clubpalmiers.com). The newly refurbished club absolutely blew us away with its mediterranean atmosphere. Pure white, a lot of wood, and a wonderful play of light and shades. In the restaurant, only the freshest products are served (try the cevice). With upbeat music from live DJs, expect dancing on the tables. Of course, like everywhere else in St. Tropez, you will have to bring your big wallet, especially if you would like to rent a beach lounge. Make sure to book beach lounge and restaurant table very well in advance! Other stylish and trendy clubs which insiders recommended to us: Byblos Beach (laid-back mediterranean gourmet experience), Loulou Ramatuelle (good mediterranean food and club atmosphere), La Reserve (relaxed bohemian style, Michelin-star restaurant). The most classic vibe you will find at Club 55, an institution since 1955, where time stands still; for us a little too old-fashioned.

Best Rosé Wine: Miraval Cotes de Provence.

Fancy club with live shows in the evening: L‘Opéra. Glamorous and sumptuous atmosphere, with creative and modern shows. Nicely situated by the sea. The food is solid but doesn't knock your socks off. However, the live show which takes place on the dining tables, definitely does! (www.opera-saint-tropez.com)

Dining at the village port: La Petite Plage, a very delightful place, where you can bury your feet in the sand while overlooking the yachts. Very authentic decor with warm and natural notes of wood, wicker and flowers. The spirit is chic and cozy, and at nightfall, the musical atmosphere will make you perfectly experience the warm nights of Saint-Tropez. (https://restaurant-lapetiteplage.com/saint-tropez/).

We will come back next year. À très bientôt!
